CYS 116 Ethics in Information Technology

This course examines the ethical issues that arise whenever Information Technology is present. Cybersecurity, Intellectual Property, Freedom of Expression and Privacy are all examined, as well as the particular roles played by individual users, individual workers, and corporation. Both real-life and hypothetical scenarios are used to encourage student engagement. Lecture 3 hours per week.
