CYS 215 Computer Forensics
In this course, students learn the methods and tools used in digital forensic investigation. Attention is given to both the technical aspects, such as data recovery and analysis, and procedural aspects, such as chain of evidence. Students learn the difference between public-sector and private-sector investigations and the role of the expert witness. Lecture 3 hours per week.
