LINE 206 Transformers

This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of transformer theory and installation practices. Topics covered include both single-phase and three-phase transformer configurations, along with various connection methods. Students will also explore equipment, cutout devices, appropriate cover-up procedures, lightning arrester installation and use, fundamental troubleshooting techniques, and the safe application of current and potential transformers. Lecture 2 hours/ Laboratory 2 hours/Total 4 hours per week.
