PHYS 211 General Physics I

This course is the first of a rigorous 2-course sequence in calculus-based physics for all science and engineering majors expecting to transfer to a four-year college or university. It may also be taken to transfer to other college or university programs requiring introductory physics. It covers the topics of properties of matter, mechanics, oscillation, and waves. The course requires prior completion of an introductory course in differential and integral calculus. Lecture 4 hours/Laboratory 2 hours/Total 6 hours per week. CORE42 MOTR PHYS 200L
