PNRS 135 OB/Peds Nursing

This comprehensive course focuses on safe nursing care from obstetrics to pediatrics. Students will learn about the interrelated aspects of maternal and infant care. Physiological, psychological, and social dimensions of pregnancy, childbirth, and early childhood development will be explored. This course prepares students for a holistic approach in providing care to mothers, newborns, and pediatric clients. Clinical experience is included in this course. Lecture 3 hours/clinical 2 hours/Total 5 hours per week.
