NURS 245 Transition Into Professional Nursing

This course addresses comprehensive medical-surgical knowledge and skills and evaluates decision making while recognizing the role of a professional nurse in quality improvement processes. This course also prepares the student for success on the NCLEX-RN examination. At the completion of this course, the student will participate in the NCLEX-RN review session. Lecture 5.5 hours/Clinical 4.5 hours/Total 9 hours per week.
