PARA 210 Paramedic I

The course is based on the current National Emergency Medical Services Educational Standards and The National EMS Scope of Practice Model. This course is organized to cover the Preparatory, Airway Management, Patient Assessment, and medical portion of the National Curriculum. The class time includes both didactic, psychomotor, and affective training of the EMS skills needed. Lecture 10 hours/Laboratory-Clinical 6 hours/Total 16 hours per week.
