IST 226 Medical Billing & Coding II

This course is designed to further develop an individual's skills in clinical classification systems, reimburesement methodologies, health records, and data content. Individuals will develop skills necessary to advance to IST 275 Advanced Medical Billing & Coding I. Individuals will develop skills necessary to obtain employment in a physician's office, hospital, or healthcare facility. Lecture 3 hours per week.
