IST 275 Advanced Medical Billing & Coding I

This course is designed to introduce individuals to health records, data content, compliance, information technologies, confidentiality, and privacy requirements. Individuals will develop skills necessary to advance to IST 276 Advanced Medical Billing & Coding II. Individuals will develop skills necessary to obtain employment in a physician's office, hospital, or healthcare facility. Lecture 3 hours per week.
