Purpose: The Certificate of Accounting provides a basic knowledge of accounting principles combined with computer skills necessary for advancement in the field of accounting. The Certificate of Accounting will apply toward the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Accounting Technology. It could also be beneficial for persons with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Office Administration, Medical Billing and Coding or Business Management. It also provides the additional courses required by Central Methodist University as part of the Bachelor’s in Accountancy.
