Purpose: Career and Technical Education. The Fire Science Certificate program focuses on providing students with skills in firefighting and emergency medical services. This certificate prepares students for entry-level employment, building a foundation for future advancement in the firefighting field.

(1)These courses require skills and written examinations by the Missouri Division of Fire Safety to obtain state certification. Students must meet all state requirements prior to taking certification tests. In addition, submission of a Criminal Record background check may be required.
