Purpose: Career and Technical Education. The Welding Technology program focuses on the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed within the manufacturing and maintenance profession. This degree prepares students for entry-level employment and provides a foundation for advancement in the industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Program Outcomes

- Interpret and restate definitions, terminology, and symbols in welding prints.
- Demonstrate welding techniques in various positions and applications.
- Evaluate and identify Weld discontinuities and defects.
- Differentiate the differences of metals, their makeup and uses.
- Create designs and program various CNC equipment for use in fabrication.
